We can accept most of the common database and spreadsheet file formats, including dBase (.DBF) files, Excel spreadsheets (.XLS), Microsoft Access (.MDB) database files, and fielded ASCII such as comma-delimited or tab-delimited plain text files.

If the application you are using doesn’t store your list in one of these formats natively, it is almost certain that the program will allow you to “export” the list to one of these formats.

Field Layout:
In general, each record in your file should have the following fields:

• Mailing address (at least one, and preferably not more than two address lines)
• City, state, and zip fields (or a combined field with all three)
• Any other fields are strictly optional.
